Last updated 3 October 2026Draft for legal review

Draft for legal review. Ascendify's lawyer is reviewing this page; it is not final yet. Items in brackets are still being filled in.

The TrapFree website and server include open-source software written by other people. We are grateful to them. Each part below stays under its own licence, and nothing in TrapFree's Terms of Service limits your rights under those licences. The full licence texts are below the list.

Getting source code: for the parts under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL), you can ask us for the complete corresponding source code. Write to [email protected] with the TrapFree version and platform. We will send it, or a link to it, [free of charge / for no more than the cost of sending it], for [3] years after we last ship that version. [Offer of LGPL source: how to request, for 3 years.] The LGPL parts stay replaceable: you may replace them with your own modified version, as the LGPL allows.
