Draft for legal review. Ascendify's lawyer is reviewing this page; it is not final yet. Items in brackets are still being filled in.

On this page

In short: our TrapFree pages use only the cookies they need to work securely. We use no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no tracking of any kind. That is why we do not show a cookie banner.

A cookie is a small piece of text a website asks your browser to keep, so the site can recognise the next request from the same browser. Similar tools (such as browser "local storage") are covered here too.

2. The cookies we use

These are all strictly necessary: the page cannot work securely without them. They are never used to follow you around the web, and none of them is shared with advertisers.

All our own cookies are marked Secure (sent only over encrypted connections), HttpOnly (page scripts cannot read them) and SameSite=Strict (other websites cannot make your browser send them).

3. The pay page

Our pay page (server.ascendify.pro/trapfree/v1/pay/…) sets no cookies of its own. It is opened by a one-time link that is valid for 30 minutes. When the pay page opens, it loads Razorpay's or Paddle's payment script, so that company receives your IP address and browser details and may set its own cookies or similar storage. When you press Pay, their payment window opens. Razorpay (India) or Paddle (outside India) use these to process the payment, check it is really you and prevent fraud. They are responsible for those under their own policies:

  • Razorpay: [link to Razorpay's privacy / cookie policy]
  • Paddle: [link to Paddle's privacy / cookie policy]

4. What we do not use

  • No analytics (no Google Analytics or similar).
  • No advertising, retargeting or social-media pixels.
  • No embedded videos or social widgets that set third-party cookies.
  • No fingerprinting.

If we ever want to add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this notice first and ask for your agreement before setting it.

5. The TrapFree apps

The TrapFree apps do not use cookies. What the apps send to our server is described in the privacy notice and on the "How TrapFree works" page.

6. Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies above, the account page or the payment step may not work.
