These terms are part of the Terms of Service (ascendify.pro/trapfree/legal/terms).
1. What you buy
A TrapFree licence for your TrapFree account. You pay once. Nothing renews by itself, ever, and there is no subscription to cancel.

The price is the one shown on the button before you pay, in your country's currency; it includes tax, except in the United States and Canada, where tax is added and shown before you pay ("+ tax"). The same licence costs the same on Android, iPhone, Mac, Windows and our website in your country.
2. What stays free, with or without a licence
Shorts, Reels and TikTok never scroll; a daily limit for YouTube and Instagram; adult sites blocked; Deep Focus, free to start; the wallet (optional, with a 5-second notice before every spend); one device. On iPhone and iPad every Screen Time feature (every limit, shield, category, block-list site, the adult filter and Deep Focus) is free. When a licence or a trial ends, protection never turns off.
3. What the licence adds
- Your country's full app list to limit (Android, and the websites on Mac and Windows), for the apps TrapFree can enforce on that device. Not on iPhone or iPad, where you choose any apps in Apple's list for free.
- One daily budget shared by up to 5 devices on your account (a second device of any kind: phone, iPad, Mac or Windows PC).
- An unlimited block list (without a licence: 3 sites) on Android, Mac, Windows and our website. Not on iPhone or iPad, where every block-list site is free (section 2).
- Your full history and the weekly report (without a licence: the last 7 days).
- The larger widgets (without a licence: the small one).
- The exam timetable and exam mode (block hours you set for each weekday, and, until the last day of your exams, nothing can be loosened), on Android, Mac and Windows, in the app versions that have it; free on iPhone and iPad, where Screen Time enforces it (section 2).
- Strict network mode on a Mac or Windows PC (it stops VPN apps, including a work VPN, and other DNS servers from getting around TrapFree's filter: How TrapFree works). Android, iPhone and iPad have no strict network mode.
A store or our website names an extra only while it works in the version you install.
4. The free trial
- 7 days of everything, free. No card. Nothing is charged by itself. One trial per person (one per account, phone number, email address and device).
- On Android, Mac, Windows and the website it starts by itself when your first device is protected, with the line "Your full TrapFree is free until {date}. Nothing is charged." On iPhone and iPad it starts when you tap Start 7 days free (the App Store's free "7-day Trial").
- After the 7 days only the extras of section 3 go back to the free plan. History older than 7 days is hidden for 30 days (a licence bought in that time shows it again) and then deleted.
5. Buying again, upgrading and codes
- 2 years again: another 730 days are added after your current end date, so no day is lost.
- India, from 3 months to 2 years or lifetime: within 90 days of buying the 3-month licence you can upgrade for ₹100 less (2 years ₹499, lifetime ₹1,399). The upgrade starts at once; the rest of the 3 months is not added on top.
- Lifetime replaces any 2-year or 3-month licence; the days left of those are not refunded.
- A creator's code: on our website it takes 10% off the price, shown before you pay, only to you. In the apps it never changes the price: it adds 2 months to a 2-year licence, or a wallet promotional credit to a lifetime licence. A code never has a field on the pay screen.
- Invite a friend: when a friend you invited buys their first licence, you both get 1 extra month. Nothing is given for an install, a sign-up, a rating or a review.
6. Devices and the account
The licence belongs to your TrapFree account, not to a phone or a store account, and works on every device you sign in to (up to 5 at a time; you can remove one in Settings). It cannot be sold, lent or moved to another account. A licence bought in the App Store or Google Play also works on your other devices once you are signed in to the same account.
7. "Lifetime", and if TrapFree stops
"Lifetime" means for as long as Ascendify offers TrapFree. If we ever stop offering TrapFree, we tell you at least 90 days ahead and refund: a 2-year or 3-month licence, the share of its price for the unused days; a lifetime licence bought less than 2 years before TrapFree stops, the share of its price for the unused days of its first 2 years.
8. Refunds
Bought on our website: the full price within 14 days, no questions asked, in every country (refund policy, ascendify.pro/trapfree/legal/refunds). Bought in Google Play or the App Store: through Google's or Apple's refund process. After a refund the licence ends; protection does not.
9. Changes
A price change never changes a licence you already bought. If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we tell you at least 30 days ahead (Terms of Service §13); the licence you bought keeps what it promised when you bought it.
10. Age
TrapFree and the licence are for adults (18+).
11. Who sells to you
- India, our website: Ascendify (proprietor: Aman Krishna Gupta), Block No. 13, Phase 2, Maa Narmade Nagar, Bilhari, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh 482020, India · GSTIN 23BIHPG9767J1ZT. Payments by Razorpay; you get a GST tax invoice.
- Outside India, our website: Paddle.com Market Ltd is the merchant of record: Paddle sells the licence to you, takes the payment and charges the tax, under Paddle's buyer terms (paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms); Ascendify provides the licence.
- Google Play or the App Store: Google or Apple takes the payment under its own terms; Ascendify provides the licence.
