In short: this website sets no cookies and has no analytics or trackers. We keep what you send us only to answer you. We never sell data or use it for advertising.
01Who is responsible
Ascendify is the trade name of Aman Krishna Gupta, a sole proprietorship in India (GSTIN 23BIHPG9767J1ZT, Udyam UDYAM-MP-24-0110261), with its principal place of business at Block No. 13, Phase 2, Maa Narmade Nagar, Bilhari, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh 482020, India. In this policy “Ascendify”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Aman Krishna Gupta trading as Ascendify; “you” means the person using this website or buying from us.
We decide why and how the personal data described here is used: under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) we are the Data Fiduciary. Questions about your data go to Aman Krishna Gupta at [email protected].
02What this policy covers
This policy covers this website, ascendify.pro, and what happens when you contact us. Our products have their own privacy notices that say exactly what each one keeps: for TrapFree, the TrapFree privacy notice, which covers your account, your devices, your purchases and your settings.
03This website
- No cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no trackers. This website sets no cookie, runs no script and loads nothing from another company's server: its fonts and images come from ascendify.pro itself.
- No forms. You give us nothing by reading these pages.
- Server logs. Like every web server, ours records each request in an access log: your IP address, the time, the page asked for, and what your browser says about itself. We use it only to keep the website secure and working, never to profile anyone, and keep it for 180 days.
04When you contact us
When you call, WhatsApp, email or message us on Instagram, we receive what you send: your name if you give it, your phone number, email address or account name, and your message. We use it only to answer you and to keep a record of what we promised. We keep support messages for 2 years, then delete them, sooner if you ask.
WhatsApp, Instagram and your email provider are run by other companies, under their own privacy policies.
05When you buy
Purchases are made in our products, signed in to your account; the product's privacy notice says what it keeps. Our payment partners (Razorpay in India, Paddle.com outside India, and Apple or Google in their app stores) receive what they need to take your payment, under their own privacy policies. We receive the result, the amount and their reference, never your card, UPI or bank details. Records of purchases are kept as tax law requires (about 6 to 8 years in India).
06Why we use it, and on what basis
- To answer your messages and complaints: you gave the data for that purpose (DPDP Act, section 7(a)).
- To keep the website secure and working (server logs): the legitimate use of protecting our systems.
- To keep tax and accounting records, and to answer lawful requests from authorities: legal obligations.
We never sell personal data, never use it for advertising and never share it except as this policy says.
07Who else sees it
Only the service providers that run our business for us, each for its task: our hosting provider (the server that runs this website), our email provider (the [email protected] mailbox) and our payment partners. We share data with the authorities only when the law requires it.
08Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it;
- withdraw a consent you gave, as easily as you gave it;
- nominate someone to use your rights if you die or cannot act;
- complain to us, and then to the Data Protection Board of India.
Write to [email protected]. We answer within one month, and tell you if the law requires us to keep something. For data in your TrapFree account you can also use your account page, including deleting the account.
09Children
Our products are for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
10Security
This website is served only over HTTPS. Access to our systems is limited to the people who need it, with two-step sign-in. If a personal-data breach affects you, we tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
